  1. Hey Emily, happy you liked the Taros CafĂ© review! :) I really like your blog and am going to add it to the ‘recommended blogs’ list on – I also work for them. I think they give out formulas of somesort to add to people’s blogs to say they’ve been recommended or something, so if you want this ‘stamp of approval’, just give me a shout and I’ll email the relevant person.
Thanks and hope you scratch that itch soon

  3. Hi Emily, your blog is absolutely lovely! I love the lines, angles and colors in your pictures – they are very eye-catching and provide interesting perspectives (both literally and figuratively). Thanks for appreciating my writing on my blog! Ta!

  4. Hi Emliy! I absolutely loved your postcard idea. It’s great to read about people travelling around the world in one place. Also a good way for you to get material and allow place to share their work on your blog. Props to you!

  5. Hi Ms. Emily! thank you for stopping by my blog! I am trying to start a bit of a travel section for my blog. Its kinda different from my family stuff but we do love to travel and beleive the world is so huge with so little time to explore. Would you want to do a guest post for me or suggest your favorite post for me to reblog to help get this started? I love your blog. Maybe we will bump into each other in our travels! Thanks!

    • Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I’d be very happy to do a guest post for you if you’d like one, send me an email at and we can discuss :) alternatively you’re more than welcome to re-blog any of my posts depending on what’s relevant to your travel section, perhaps something from my recent trip to Amsterdam or Morocco? Just avoid the ‘postcards’ and the guest posts since I don’t own the content!! Thanks :)

  6. Your blog is absolutely beautiful! I have a similiar style and I hope you don’t mind me asking, but what widget did you use on the right side to put all your amazing pictures? Or how did you do that! Looks great! Thanks.

  7. Hey Emily! wow! what an amazing and professionally thought out blog! I am new to blogging, and have found inspiration and comfort in your blog :) keep up the amazing work!

  9. Like your blog and the photos look really nice. I want to move to London sometime next year, well first I want to go on my big 40 and then move there. How is it?

  10. Hello! I love your blog and travels. Traveling is something I love to do.
So I’m new to WordPress, and I had chosen this Oxygen theme as my Theme. But I am having problems figuring out the slider for images. How did you do that exactly? Do I need to upgrade something? I’ve been trying to figure it out for a while now.

  34. hi Emily, just reading your postcard from Vienna blog. My sister is there right now and experiencing the same bad weather, but loving the city and all its beauty. Just one thing. Near the bottom you ask the question “So what did you get up to in Venice?” Different city.
But the story goes on about Vienna (If you’re Austrian you would call it Wien) I like the interview style and yes, Vienna is beautiful.

    • Hi Monika! Thanks for pointing that out – I must have been tired when I was typing up the questions! I’ve corrected it now :)

I’ve never been to Vienna myself but would love to, it looks gorgeous!
